As a Project Manager or Senior Software Engineer, you're leading the project team that partners with nonprofits, government agencies, and social enterprises and builds impactful tech solutions for them. FAQ

As you interview for being a Project Manager or a Software Engineer, a more complete list including clients and the specific projects will be released to understand your skillset and preferences. That said, some of our projects include empowering state governments to better help their constituents with the former CTO of the VA.

Our priority application deadline (please apply be this time if you're particularly passionate so we can note that down) is 12/22 at 11:59PM ET. Our general application deadline is 1/3 at 11:59PM ET. It's a few short answers responses and a resume drop—apply here! Then, we'll move onto first round interviews (conducted from January 4 - 6) which are behavioral and targeted to get to know you as a person, and then second round interviews (conducted from Jan 7 - 10) which are more technical and mock situation-based.

The priority deadline helps us know that you're especially interested in leading a project!

Software development projects focuses on building a software product (ranging from full stack web development, mobile app development, machine learning, etc.) through iterative development cycles and turning human centered design insights into functional products. UX design projects focus on deeply understand the user and how they interact with technology through extensive user interviews, iterative prototyping (on platforms like Figma), and innovative design thinking.
